Loved bringing my 12 yr old son for his birthday. Easy to find, valet parking right out front, and table was ready as soon as we arrived. Reservation strongly encouraged. We came on a Friday evening and it was at capacity. We sat outside to enjoy the view and even though the day was somewhat windy, they do have heaters out. Our waiter Patrick was amazing. He took the time to educate my son on non-alcoholic mock tails, steak cuts and made the perfect food recommendations. Our favorite was the appetizer Lobstercargot. Dessert is complementary for special occasions. My son opted for the chocolate cake. Overall it was a great night and we’ll definitely come back.

You just can't beat a delicious steak sandwich overlooking the river in the heart of Chicago on a nice day.

The outside seating was perfect and truly enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the lunch was outstanding.

The quality of the steak was amazing, and it went really well with their house red wine. Also, the fries were great, along with the sashimi appetizer.

Our server Sophia was exceptional! A true professional who cared about the quality of service that she provided to each customer.  Her personable approach and knowledge of the menu made our decision process easy.  She was a bright personality with great energy. Truly a gem!

I absolutely love this place! The service is simply AMAZING, and the staff is wonderfully courteous. I made a last-minute reservation, and despite that, they were incredibly accommodating. My companion and I decided to wait half an hour for an outdoor table, so we sat by the bar where I enjoyed a glass of wine. To my surprise, we didn’t even wait a full 30 minutes before the bar staff greeted us and informed us that our table was ready. The host even offered to take my glass of wine outside for me, which was a gesture that truly impressed me.

Every steak cut offered here is just AMAZING and bursting with flavor. I have to say, this place serves the best steak in Chicago. I have never had any complaints about anything on the menu; everything is consistently delicious. The attention to detail, from the service to the food quality, makes this restaurant stand out. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional fine dining experience in the Windy City.

Great experience! Great ambience! Great service! Just a wonderful date night.  The food is a little salty however my palette maybe a lil sensitive due to being on a somewhat low sodium restriction diet.  The scallop potatoes are definitely on the salty side.

Simply the best meal/experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I'll start with how great the service was. Julian provided fantastic service, had great recommendations, and went above and beyond throughout the entire meal. The Managing Partner Matthew Moore stopped by the table to ensure we had a great experience, which was a wonderful added experience. Now to food. For appetizer, my wife and I got the Lobstercargot and the triple cut bacon. Both were outrageously delicious. For entrees, my wife got the Beef Wellington on special, and I got "The Holy Grail" their 32 oz prime rib. They were both incredible. To top off the experience, we were gifted a piece of their scrumptious chocolate cake for our wedding anniversary we were celebrating. A very nice touch to end our incredible experience. This is simply the best steakhouse in the city, and I definitely will be returning soon. Will be recommending to all my family and friends. I also want to shout out to the incredible hosting and bussing staff, as they also greatly enhanced our experience.

Chicago Cut Steakhouse är allt en värld - klass steakhouse ska vara - djärv, elegant och oförglömlig. Från första stund var energin elektrisk. Utsikten över floden var fantastisk, och utrymmet kändes på något sätt både exklusivt och inbjudande. 

Servicen? Oklanderlig. Vår server var kunnig, uppmärksam utan att sväva, och gjorde fantastiska rekommendationer. Varje detalj förväntades och utfördes felfritt. 

Nu till showens stjärna: biffen. Helt fenomenalt. Tillagad till perfektion, kryddad mästerligt, och smält - i - din - mun öm. Benet - i ribeye var en av de bästa jag någonsin haft — rik, saftig och sprudlande av smak. Sidorna (hej, hummer mac & cheese och tryffel pommes frites) var överdådiga och läckra, lätt värda beröm på egen hand. 

Vinlistan var djup och omtänksamt curerad. Vi avslutade kvällen med en dekadent chokladkaka som var den perfekta avslutningen på en extraordinär matupplevelse. 

Om du är i Chicago och vill ha ett stekhus som levererar på alla fronter – mat, Service, atmosfär – är Chicago Cut ett måste. Värt vartenda öre och lite till.

Det finns så många biffhus att välja mellan och inte möjligt att bricka dem alla på en kort semester. Vi åkte hit på en rekommendation och blev inte besvikna. Stora filébiffar med lämpliga sidor (inklusive pommes frites förstås). Överraskningen var den relativa dyrheten för amerikanska viner jämfört med import. Till råga på IT allt vi kunde äta ute i solskenet.

Som biffar går kocken är bra som är placeringen av restaurangen på floden. 
Det jag har svårt för är min kunskap om hur personalen bemöts. Vill du äta här och prenumerera på hur personalen behandlas och stötta hemska förhållanden? 
Personal avskedas utan anledning, skickas hem i ett infall, tvingas arbeta 14 timmar och behandlas i princip som mindre varelser! Det är inte bra karma att äta mat här och inta den här energin.

Den mest obekväma matupplevelsen i mitt liv. Ledningen behandlar sin personal som smuts. Det var verkligen obehagligt att bevittna. Cheferna talade till dem i en oförskämd, nedlåtande ton, och det var tydligt att de var under intensiv press. Man kunde se det på deras ansikten – de försökte göra sitt bästa, men blev knäppta eller detaljstyrda konstant. Det förstörde atmosfären totalt. Chefer skällde order på dem, visade noll tålamod och skapade en synbart giftig atmosfär. Som betalande kund förväntar jag mig en välkomnande miljö, inte en där jag känner att personalen förringas eller inte respekteras. Det är ungdomar som kommit från Irland för att arbeta över sommaren, och de förtjänar att behandlas med grundläggande respekt och vänlighet – inte som andra klassens anställda. Biffarna var ok, alldeles för dyrt 

Restauranger bör komma ihåg att hur de behandlar sin personal säger allt om deras värderingar. Jag kommer inte att återvända, och jag hoppas verkligen att ledningen reflekterar över detta.

Vanligtvis är jag inte en för recensioner men vi åt här för några veckor sedan och kunde inte skriva en. Kom inte hit! 
Det är uppenbart att ägarna av denna anläggning är pengar grabbers. Vinerna är pressande prissatta, borden så nära att kompromissa med upplevelsen men säkerställer högre vinst för restaurangen. Vi kände oss obekväma hela vår måltid eftersom en chef skrek åt en yngre medlem av personalen för att göra vad som lät som ett litet misstag vid bordet bakom oss. Jag jobbar i ledningen och det här beteendet är inte coolt 2025 ! Han tycktes njuta av sin makt och personalen var tydligt bedrövad. 
Vår irländska server var den enda försonande funktionen på platsen. Från början till slut var hon söt och ansträngde sig hårt på sitt jobb/även hon skrattade när vi kommenterade den spänning chefen hade skapat, som om det var en normal händelse. Hon sprang även efter oss över bron när vi glömde vårt kort. Jag minns inte vad hon hette men hon hade blont hår. Ledningen kanske borde omskolas av henne och andra servrar eftersom de var enda anledningen till att jag skulle återvända. 
Maten var bra men inte värt den obekväma vibe om platsen.

Bra kväll, vi hade ett trevligt bord precis vid floden, enastående mat (biffar) och service. Allt tillsammans en unik upplevelse

Jag hade stora förhoppningar om det här stället med tanke på det lysande ryktet, men vad jag fick istället var en mästerklass i kulinarisk besvikelse, lätt en av de mest underväldigande matupplevelser jag har haft i Chicago. 

För att sparka igång saker och ting var gudstjänsten (förutom en lysande stjärna) en slow motion-katastrof. Vi väntade nästan 40 minuter bara för att göra en beställning, vilket gav oss gott om tid att memorera dryckesmenyn och ompröva våra livsval. En timme senare kom äntligen vår mat, kall och oförlåtlig — ungefär som resten av personalen. 

Biffen? Låt oss bara säga att om du ska döpa dig själv till en steakhouse, kanske du vill lära dig att laga en. Min var en seg, överkokt platta som smakade som om den hade tappat viljan att bo någonstans runt grillen. Sidorna var lika livlösa, ljumma, oinspirerade och klädda med all entusiasm av att någon slutade mitt i skiftet. 

Den enda gnistan i hela charaden var vår irländska servitris. Hon var allt som resten av kvällen inte var: varm, uppmärksam, genuint härlig och gjorde helt klart sitt bästa i ett sjunkande skepp. Om ledningen hade halva hennes charm och professionalism, kanske de inte driver en restaurang - formad besvikelse. 

Sammantaget kommer jag inte att återvända. Ett steakhouse som inte kan laga biff och tar evigheter att servera den borde inte ta ut premiumpriser. Undvik om du inte bara är ute efter den charmiga irländska servitrisen.

Det här var en av de värsta matupplevelser jag har haft på åratal. Biffen var överkokt, torr och smakade som om den hade suttit under en värmelampa i timmar. Sidorna var intetsägande och tydligt direkt från en mikrovågsugn — potatisen hade konsistensen av lim, och grönsakerna var slappa och smaklösa. 

Inställningen hjälpte inte heller. Inredningen såg ut som en loppmarknad gått fel — missmatchade möbler, skala tapeter och musik som fortsatte att skära in och ut. Det var varken mysigt eller exklusivt — bara deprimerande. 

Den enda försonande delen av natten var vår irländska servitris. Hon var genuint varm, uppmärksam och gjorde sitt bästa för att gottgöra resten av katastrofen. Ärligt talat förtjänar hon att jobba någonstans mycket bättre än det här stället. 

Spara dina pengar och gå bokstavligen någon annanstans

Efter att ha haft en fantastisk upplevelse i Gibsons steakhouse, Chicago Cut rekommenderades till mig som det enastående valet för biff i Chicago. Vilken besvikelse! 
Det största problemet var tjänsten. Jag beställde en öl och vi ville också beställa en flaska vin. Vår server hade vinmenyn i sin hand och istället för att ge den till oss att välja fortsatte han att fråga vilket vin vi gillade så han skulle rekommendera. Jag bad honom att ge mig menyn 3 gånger och han verkade mycket motvillig av någon konstig anledning. Så småningom överlämnades dryckesmenyn och jag fick välja en flaska. Han gick iväg och kom inte tillbaka på ett tag men utan ölen som han tydligen inte beställde. 
Hur som helst beställde vi maten och när de varma förrätterna kom från köket placerades de på ett brickstativ bort från vårt bord i flera minuter men serverades inte. Vårt vatten var med en annan stor grupp som tog order. Så småningom berättade mannen som hade tagit med brickan för en annan servitör om att brickan behövde serveras och så småningom, efter att ha tillbringat lite tid med att titta på biljetten gav han oss maten. 

Maten var inte dålig men inte bra. Min biff var bra men inte enastående. 
Det fanns en del uppmärksamhet från servitörer, hälla upp vinet etc. 
Man var dock inte gjord för att känna sig speciell som kund. 
Sammantaget skulle jag inte återvända. 
Slösa inte bort dina pengar!

Restaurangen är fylld till bredden med små bord hoptryckta så nära varandra att även dukningen av en tallrik känns som en kamp. Upplägget är så tätt att servitörer ständigt stöter på stolar och bord, och även matgäster vid angränsande bord kan oavsiktligt röra varandra. Även om maten är ganska bra, den totala upplevelsen är långt ifrån hype.

Otrolig restaurang med fantastisk mat. Definitivt ett ställe att få en biff så vi gjorde. Hummer bisque och butternut squash soppor var utsökt. Maken hade filet, jag hade delmonico, båda med poivresås. Fantastiskt. Bra urval av viner vid glaset. Key lime pajen var den bästa jag någonsin ätit. Hade biff över att ta med hem. Kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Vi hade en fantastisk kväll på Chicago Cut! Började med underbara cocktails i den underbara baren. Medan vi njöt kom en välklädd herre förbi och frågade om allt var bra... vi hade ett bra samtal och visade sig David var en av ägarna! Han vakade över oss hela kvällen och kom till och med till bordet för att följa med oss en stund. Det är en upplevelse som inte är möjlig i ett av de stora kedjestekhusen. Maten var fantastisk. Började med Hummercargo... en specialitet som var otrolig. Sen hade jag Alaskan King Crab-benen... allt inklusive de stora sidorna var fantastiskt. Och mycket av menyn är förberedd eller serveras vid bordet. Inklusive de sidor som de serverar dig enligt anvisningarna. Fantastisk kväll. Vi kommer att vara tillbaka ofta! Tack David!

Vår Chicago cut dining erfarenhet var superlative på alla sätt! Vår familj på fem hade var och en en annan styckningsdel av nötkött, och var och en av oss hade sin måltid förberedd precis som vi hade önskat! Hur ofta händer det? För det mesta måste man rymma någon liten avvikelse från kötttemperaturen som man har begärt men detta fall var perfekt! Mångfalden av presentationer av nötköttet var omfattande. Jag hade den au poivre versionen av Delmonico och den var klockren. Sidorna var rikliga och delbara. Vinlistan var tillräcklig. Vår servitör, Julius, var välinformerad, kompetent och uppmärksam. Och slutligen, desserterna var fantastiska! Om jag var tvungen att ding denna restaurang på någon aspekt av upplevelsen, skulle det vara att det är en ganska bullrig miljö och kanske några ljuddämpande behandlingar av taket eller väggarna skulle kunna göra det lite mindre högt.

Både servicen och maten överträffade mina förväntningar. Presentationen är vacker. Det är i ett utmärkt läge. Menyn är expansiv och väl genomtänkt. Bästa ostronen som jag ätit av 5 olika restauranger den här månaden.
